Breakdown Analysis
1
We profit $0 on equipment
our goal is to help restaurants use sustainable smart lockers to improve their digital strategy on the rise of the on-demand economy and the off-premise revolution.
2
What does the Flat Fee Cover?
Unlimited pick-ups by customers, UberEats, DoorDash, and GrubHub. Android and iOS system updates, hosting data on servers, online security service, payment service updates and management, analytics, debugging (removing errors from computer software and hardware), electronic lock monitoring, customer service, content updates, SMS notification management, SMS compliance, app troubleshooting. Admin Dashboard: viable customer insights and data. Support: Dedicated external support teams for physical malfunctions.
3
Why a subscription model?
We opted for this model to support the industry shift towards off-premise orders and the projected long-term volume increase for takeout orders from 60% to 80% of total sales. A fixed cost per month instead of a fee per transaction allows for better budgeting by operators and eliminates the concerns of lower margins on takeout orders. Suggestion to address potential price concerns - the monthly cost could be passed on to customers as a convenience fee or tech fee to support The Yummy Box and your POS cost. With a 0.50 convenience fee per order you would only need 16 take out orders per day. The average number of takeout in the nation is 32.
Operating More than 3 Locations
We understand that running a national or global chain has its unique challenges. After meeting with a global restaurant chain that's a little shy of 4,000 locations, we learned it's best to make some price tweaks to account for larger daily volumes. It's been incredible thinking through every detail needed to scale The Yummy Box system with them, which has prepared us to better service your needs. Please contact us for a specialized quote.
